Do you always use Microsoft Power Point to explain about the material? How if we tend to stay at home and have to teach students? What you will gonna do? Just only send the material without your explanation? Your learners will not get a knowledge from that.

Don't worry guys, I have a key to all of your questions. It's Nearpod. Do you know about it? Alright, Rosi will explain it to you✨

Nearpod is an application tool that takes your presentations to a whole new level. Teachers can take already existing PowerPoints or PDFs and upload them to the Nearpod site to create enriched multimedia presentations with interactive features. You can also add your audio and video through it. There are many reasons to love this application but here are my top three reasons why Nearpod is a great way to start the journey of using devices in your teaching:

1. Nearpod works on all devices, whether the students have computers, or other tablets, or even mobile phones. This is great especially for online learning that forces us to keep in touch with gadget everyday.

2. The teacher has complete control of student devices. Before the lesson, the teacher provides a code for students to join the session. Once joined, the students submit their names which allows the teacher to see on the teacher iPad the names of the students that have joined. When all students have joined, the teacher can share the first slide of the presentation and begin the lesson. Students are only allowed to see the slide the teacher shares which ensures students are on task. If students try to go to the next slide the application will not allow them to do so.

3. There are two ways to launch a lesson & give your student feedback:

Live Lessson Option : When teacher share a live session, students have to enter the code and the lesson is synced! This is perfect for online learning that we always do right now.

Student Paced Option : Share a lesson code for students' to complete at their own time and place in order to create more flexible remote teaching experience.
